Each year we like to take a family vacation.  I like to make matching shirts for "the girls".  It's fun!

Memory baby blanket

The blanket is the same color of brown for both sides.  Somehow while editing, I changed the picture color of the back side of the blanket.  The embroidery was done by a local shop.

The Grandmother's favorite number was 7.  I used her soft blue sweater for the back and for the 7 crosses.  Cathy was a much beloved person in our community.  My step sister commissioned the sewing and we planned the design together.

I am often asked to sew memory items.  I've sewn Christmas ornaments, a cloth bear, pillows, purses, bracelets, and blankets as memory pieces to treasure.

Big sis and Big bro outfits

Don't you love lil sis and lil bro outfits?  Here are three I've made. 

I don't have a huge manufacturer's monogram machine like this one.

I have to get creative when personalizing garments.  I applique freehand on my little brother sewing machine.

Sometimes I will paint the monogram on the shirt and then sew around the paint.

Craft fair

A recent craft fair.  I took my American Girl Doll clothes, some bows for the doll or child, appliques, cards, onesies, and bibs.

Fabric cards

The fun little cards are made with fabric and paper.  My little characters are named after my children....Long leg girl and Laid back boy.

Unique gift wrapping

Red, white, and blue

The easy little pillowcase dress is made from 2 shirts with a fabric layer and ribbon ties.  I used a lacy blouse to make the heart applique.
